Update July 2022

Release date: July 15th 2022.

Release type: Major release containing new features, EPTS integrations and bug-fixes.

Introduction

In this update we have added Garmin Connect support, a new addition to our Polar Flow integration and added improved functionality to Self-Report. We have also introduced small UI/UX improvements in various modules, some of which are based on suggestions by end-users.

Training & Game

Additions

Following additions have been made with current release:

  • We are now fully compatible with Garmin Connect compatible devices.
    You can learn more about it here.
  • We are now fully compatible with Polar Flow’s OAuth API. Users no longer need to make connection requests to Polar Flow using the AccessLink API but can now use OAuth to generate tokens and allow access to their performance data.
  • Users can now choose to have have their test results generated in Polar Flow (weight, height, vo2max, maximal heart rate, resting heart rate, …) overwrite their test results in Topsportslab. Start by navigating to Settings > Partners > Polar Flow and toggle the checkbox beneath ‘Test result’ allowing Topsportslab to import your test results from Polar Flow.

Bug-fixes

Following bugs were discovered and fixed with current release:

  • Training files imported from Garmin could have an incorrect registration dates in some cases.

Self-Report

Additions

Following additions have been made with current release:

  • Athletes can now select multiple body zones when answering questions of type Medical.
  • Questions of type Medical now have a more expanded detailed list of body zones to select from.
  • Body zones selected while answering questions of type Medical will all generate new medical cases of type self-diagnosis in the Medical Module.
  • While viewing self-report results or using the analytics tools, the questions of type Medical will now also be shown using the label of the body zone.
  • Tasks generated for questionnaire templates that have assessment types other than Own Initiative, will now only last until the end of the day. This will provide a pileup of questionnaire tasks. The athlete can still complete them afterwards by navigating to Self-report > Input.

Bug-fixes

Following bugs were discovered and fixed with current release:

  • Self-report tasks would could fail to trigger properly and show up in the Athlete’s task list in some cases.
  • Inactive questions could still show up while filling in the questionnaire in some cases.
  • It is no longer possible to configure negative hours in the assessment configuration of questionnaire templates.
  • Period view of Self-report analytics could become very slow while preparing the PDF’s in some cases.
