How are color codes calculated in Training Quality Reports?

Required modules: RefereeLab Core
Required roles: Referee and higher

Training Quality Reports will monitor and report on the quality of the training schedule of a referee. This quality is determined by calculating a color code (red, yellow, green) for 5 criteria.

The 5 criteria are described in the chapters below. Every chapter will link to a dedicated article describing how it is calculated and how you can score are high as possible.

This article describes the Topsportslab default way of processing and calculating Training Quality Reports. If you federation has a custom rule set, please consult your Coach to get a detailed overview on how the codes are calculated and what you should do to score as high as possible.

TSL Code

This criterium helps the Coaches determine if the Referees have entered all their required training aims (thus have filled in their calendar). Depending on what days are empty and what data might be missing a color code is calculated.

You can learn more about it here.

Polar Code

This criterium helps the Coaches determine if the Referees have uploaded all their heart rate files. E.g. have they worn their tracking sensors during the sessions, have they synchronised with the proper services,…

You can learn more about it here.

Variation

This criterium helps the Coaches determine if there is enough variation in the training schedules of the Referees. The date interval of the report is split into 4 weeks. Every week is checked for variation separately.

You can learn more about it here.

R/A Ratio

This criterium helps the Coaches determine if the Referees are training frequently enough. In some case it helps determine the opposite. Are the Referees not forgetting to implement enough rest?

You can learn more about it here.

HI Sessions

This criterium helps the Coaches determine if the Referees are training enough in their high intensity zones.

You can learn more about it here.
