The HI Sessions criterium is used the help the Coach determine if the Referees are training enough in the high intensity zones.
To evaluate this, the Training Quality Report will evaluate every individual and group training session in the selected 28 day period.
A default threshold of 40 minutes is set by default. For every week that contains more than 1 match per week (mid-week matches), the threshold is decreased by 10 minutes if the referees has at least role Referee or Assistant Referee during both matches (roles 4th official until AVAR are not counted).
After evaluating every individual or group training session, the amount of minutes in trained in heart rate zone 4 and heart rate zone 5 are added. A color code is determined based on the amount of minutes.
- Green: More minutes than the determined threshold
- Yellow: More minutes than 50% of the determined threshold
- Red: Less minutes than the determined threshold
Checking HI Sessions
When you want to know more about why a certain color code has been assigned for HI Sessions or want to check the reasoning behind the outcome you can either filter some individual reports or open an individual report.
On the HI Sessions block click the information icon. This will open a modal, giving you more information about the color code.
In this modal you will see the amount of minutes trained in heart rate zone 4 and 5, as well as an overview of evaluated training sessions.
In this example the Referee will get a yellow code, as he/she trained more than 50% of the determined threshold of 40 minutes (24 minutes) in heart rate zones 4 and 5.
